How It Works
The Survey Builder uses a conversational interface to streamline survey creation. Instead of navigating forms or templates, you describe what you want to learn. The AI builds a survey based on your objective and shows a live preview for review. To access the Survey Builder, click the Surveys button on the navigation bar on the left. Click the Design with AI button at the top right.

Define your objective—Start by entering what you want to study.
Example: “Understand why users abandon the cart during checkout.” - Get an AI-generated draft—The Builder may suggest refining your statement to ensure it can identify your primary and secondary objectives and key areas for exploration. Once you approve the refinement and instruct the chat interface to proceed, the AI will generate a survey, including a research summary and targeted questions.
- Review and refine—Edit in the chat or accept as-is. Click "Program the Survey" to proceed.
- Preview the survey—A live view appears on the right, showing instructions, questions, and response scales.
