This article describes how to reimport a survey into an existing activity. For unpublished activities, you can edit the survey directly. If the activity is published and scheduled to deploy, unpublish it first, then reimport the survey as new. Follow the steps: access the Activity List, change the activity status to Draft by unpublishing, confirm the action, and then reimport the survey. Ensure the changes are successful by testing them.
If you change a survey linked to a activity, you must unpublish the activity (if it is currently published) and then reimport the survey by adding it again as a new survey within the existing activity.
To make changes to a draft survey...
- Click on your Activity List.
- Click on the Activity Name to edit the details.
- Click the Survey Details breadcrumb on the right side.
- Under Survey Setup at the top of the page, click New Survey. Follow the instructions as you did when you first imported the new survey.
- Test to ensure the expected changes went through.
If you make changes to a survey, where the activity is published and scheduled to deploy, you will need to unpublish the activity first in the Fuel Cycle Platform, then reimport the survey, adding it again as a new survey to your existing activity.
- Click on your Activity List.

- Click the Actions menu to the right of the activity you want to edit.
- Click Unpublish Activity.
- Confirm you wish to unpublish this activity.
- Click the Survey Details breadcrumb on the right side.
