Once you have generated your research templates, you may find you want to go back and alter some parts of the process. This article describes what you may edit in your projects.
Since there are two different views of your projects, there are two different ways to begin editing your projects:
-
List View—Two options:
- Click the name of the project.
- Click the Actions dropdown menu in the rightmost column, then click Edit Project.
- Grid View—Click anywhere on the project card to edit your project.
Clicking to edit published projects will take you to the insight page for custom surveys or ignition projects. Click the Back link to reach the Project Details.
For discussion boards, you will land on the Project Details page directly.
All the project steps are clickable within the stepper on the right side of the screen.
Audience
The audience cannot be fully edited. If you’ve chosen a community, panel, or distribution link that choice cannot be changed. You may edit the members or groups within a community to which you have released the project.
The banner along the top of the page reminds you that this project is live within the community, and any saved changes will be immediately live for members. Â
Project Details
Discussion Board Details
This page is fully editable. If you'd like to change the activity's title, card details, landing page, or incentives, you can do so.Â
Ignition Project DetailsÂ
There are limits to editing methodology details in an ignition project. Due to how the survey is built, we cannot allow the user to make any changes to the survey after it is built. You will see this represented by the grayed-out option in the project stepper.Â
Survey Details
You can update the survey attached to your project and the survey experience.
You should only reimport the same survey to account for changes in the survey programming, but we don’t recommend changing the entire survey. There are cases where this might need to be done, so you are only warned against changing surveys but not prohibited.
PublishÂ
You may update the close date of your project.
